Disc One features the legendary 1961 recordings from Tony Sheridan when the Beatles (as The Beat Brothers) were drafted in to back Sheridan for his studio sessions. These recordings gave birth to the first officially released Beatles composition, 'Cry for a Shadow', an instrumental written by John Lennon and George Harrison. Disc Two, entitled From Hamburg to Here, includes more tracks the Hamburg and Sheridan days as well as a host of cuts from former Wings member Denny Laine. Many of Laine's tracks feature guest appearances from Paul and Linda McCartney. 22 tracks. Entertain Me. |
